The company provides quantum computing access through cloud partnerships, including a deal with Amazon, and has pursued vertical integration through the approximately $1.8 billion acquisition of SkyWater Technology. However, this ambition comes with a steep price. IonQ's net loss in Q3 2025 ballooned to $1.056 billion, while total operating costs and expenses grew 218% to $208.679 million.
