Naïve raises $28.5M to automate business operations via AI agents

Naïve has secured $28.5 million in Series A funding to automate the operational overhead of starting and running a company. The investment, led by Nexus Venture Partners, brings the startup's total capital raised to approximately $32 million.
The company provides a single API that allows developers to launch autonomous businesses by automating the "grunt work" of entrepreneurship. The platform handles the formation of U.S. LLCs, the setup of email inboxes and phone numbers, and the issuance of virtual cards. It further integrates these operations with essential financial tools like Stripe and QuickBooks. This infrastructure enables developers to deploy AI agents that can manage a business's administrative and financial backbone without manual intervention.
The Shift Toward Operational Automation
This push toward automation follows the rise of "vibe-coding," a trend that has significantly lowered the technical barrier to building software products. Naïve is extending this philosophy to the business side of the equation. By providing a governance layer and a serverless runtime for agents, the company aims to solve a critical technical hurdle: the high cost of inference and resource consumption that typically accompanies the deployment of large numbers of AI agents.
Lowering the Barrier to Entry
By commoditizing the administrative requirements of a startup, Naïve is attempting to reduce the cost and effort of starting a business to nearly zero. The market demand for such a tool has been immediate. Within months of its launch, Naïve acquired over 30,000 developer customers. This rapid adoption is reflected in the company's financials; its annual run-rate revenue grew 10x over the last six months, reaching the low double-digit millions.
Sean Dorje, CEO and co-founder of Naïve, noted that AI automation agencies are currently among the fastest-growing customer segments. Other users are leveraging the platform to operate autonomous rental car agencies and "face-less" content channels on TikTok and YouTube.
Scaling the Agent Economy
Beyond simple automation, Naïve's focus on serverless agent runtimes addresses the primary scaling bottleneck for AI-driven enterprises: the astronomical cost of keeping agents active. If the company can successfully optimize inference and resource usage, it could unlock a new wave of micro-businesses run entirely by software.
