According to a contracting opportunity, the DOD requires a system that utilizes "semantic AI" to interpret context and "agentic AI" capable of planning and decision-making based on prompts. The software must be certified for Amazon Web Services (AWS) government cloud infrastructure and interface with the facility's existing ViaPath Phone system. A primary goal is the ability to pinpoint when inmates use new slang terms instead of plain language to describe drug names or criminal activities. Proposals for the system are due by August 13.
