The state-backed innovation platform Brave1 has confirmed that multiple Ukrainian companies are currently working on AI-enabled missile systems to increase autonomy and precision.

This shift is part of a strategic effort to enhance Kyiv's long-range strike capabilities, specifically targeting military and energy infrastructure within Russian territory. According to Brave1 CEO Andrii Hrytseniuk, while AI was initially deployed at scale in drones, the transition to missiles is necessary because these systems require much higher speeds.
