The University of North Texas (UNT) is establishing the Anuradha and Vikas Sinha College of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Analytics following a $20 million gift from alumni Anuradha and Vikas Sinha. Vikas Sinha, who earned his PhD from UNT and currently serves as the VP of the Mainframe Software Division at Broadcom, has a deep history with the institution. In 2024, the couple donated $3 million to establish the Anuradha and Vikas Sinha Department of Data Science. They further expanded their impact with a $2.15 million gift to open the Sinha Innovation Lab for Data Science.

"Education has opened doors for us throughout our lives, and we want to hold those doors open for others," Vikas Sinha said regarding the family's philanthropic efforts.
