Nitecore has released the fourth generation of its NB10000 ultralight power bank, specifically engineered for backpackers and endurance athletes. The device aims to solve the persistent trade-off between battery capacity and carry weight in extreme environments.

The NB10000 Gen 4 maintains a 10,000mAh (39Wh) capacity while weighing between 143g and 146g, positioning it as one of the lightest power banks in its class. To achieve this weight-to-capacity ratio, Nitecore utilized silicon-carbon anode technology—a high-energy-density material typically reserved for flagship smartphones—and encased the internals in a durable carbon fiber shell. The unit is rated IPX7 for water resistance and features a maximum output of 22.5W, with support for Power Delivery (PD), Quick Charge 3.0 (QC3.0), and Super Charge (SCP) protocols. Additional user interface elements include RGB positioning lights and a "Knock to Wake" function.
