TCC Concept Limited is aggressively scaling its digital infrastructure footprint in India to support the country's growing appetite for high-density computing. Through its subsidiary, NES Data, the company is pivoting toward large-scale capacity to capture the shift toward AI-ready services.
NES Data has announced plans to develop a 60MW data center in Pune, a move that underscores the company's commitment to the region. This expansion follows the successful full leasing of an existing 4MW facility in Pune's Hinjewadi district to a leading data center infrastructure, equipment, and services company. Umesh Sahay, Managing Director of NES Data, stated that the 100 percent leasing of the Hinjewadi site showcases trust in the company's technology and strategic location.
Strategic Diversification
This infrastructure push is part of a broader corporate evolution for TCC Concept Limited. The company has recently diversified its portfolio significantly, including the acquisition of a 95.18% stake in Pepperfry Limited, India's leading omnichannel furniture platform. By pairing consumer-facing acquisitions with the development of high-capacity data centers, TCC Concept is positioning itself across both the retail and digital utility sectors.
The AI Infrastructure Race
The move toward a 60MW facility in Pune reflects a wider industry trend. The surge in artificial intelligence and cloud computing has created an acute need for high-density server racks and bulk bandwidth.
