Apple has launched AppleCare One, a subscription-based protection plan that allows users to cover multiple devices under a single monthly payment. The move shifts the company toward a bundled service model for hardware insurance, mirroring the structure of its Apple One and iCloud+ offerings.

Under the new system, AppleCare One costs $19.99 per month and provides coverage for up to three devices. For users with larger ecosystems, additional devices can be added to the plan for $5.99 per month each. This contrasts with the traditional AppleCare+ model, which requires a separate plan for every individual device with pricing that varies by model; for example, an iPhone 17 Pro Max costs $14 per month or $140 per year. The primary distinction is that AppleCare+ protects one device per plan, whereas AppleCare One provides protection for multiple devices in one subscription.

Unified Coverage Standards

Despite the difference in billing and structure, the level of protection remains consistent across both tiers. Both AppleCare+ and AppleCare One include unlimited accidental damage repairs and 24/7 priority support. Additionally, both plans cover battery replacements when the battery health of a device drops below 80%.

Apple devices typically ship with a one-year limited warranty. The introduction of AppleCare One provides a more streamlined path for users to extend that coverage across their entire hardware suite without managing multiple individual contracts.
