Huawei has officially unveiled the Pura X View, a smartphone that departs from industry norms by utilizing a non-foldable widescreen form factor. The device aims to provide expanded screen real estate without the mechanical complexity of a folding display, marking a strategic shift in the company's hardware approach.
The Pura X View features a 6.39-inch OLED display with a distinct 16:9.5 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1320x2232. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches a peak brightness of 6,500 nits, framed by 1.05mm symmetrical bezels. Under the hood, the device is powered by the Kirin 9030S chipset paired with 12GB of RAM. Storage options range from 256GB to 1TB.
To support its larger canvas, Huawei has equipped the phone with a 7,000 mAh battery, which supports 66W wired and 50W wireless charging. The camera array is equally ambitious, headlined by a 200MP main sensor (f/1.8) with optical image stabilization (OIS). This is complemented by an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with OIS, and a 50MP front-facing camera.

The Pura X View arrives as part of the broader Pura lineup. While the smartphone market has largely looked toward foldable screens to increase usable space, Huawei is positioning the "widescreen" rigid canvas as a viable alternative.
