Apple has officially released iOS 27, but the update arrives with a significant caveat regarding device capabilities. While the operating system maintains broad compatibility, the most advanced Siri AI and Apple Intelligence features are restricted to a small subset of newer hardware.

However, the full suite of Siri AI capabilities is exclusively available on the iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, and the iPhone 16 lineup and newer models.

The Hardware Gap
