An Android Police writer recently detailed a multi-week transition to Lawnchair on a Samsung device, finding that the app successfully delivers a clean, Pixel-like interface. Unlike the official Google experience, Lawnchair provides granular control over the home screen. Specifically, it allows users to remove the "At a Glance" widget and the bottom search bar—two permanent fixtures in the standard Pixel Launcher that cannot be disabled by the user.
