Lenovo Debuts RTX Spark Laptops with 128GB RAM for AI Creators
The new Yoga Pro 9n and Yoga 9n 2-in-1 bridge the gap between consumer laptops and professional workstations.
Lenovo has unveiled its first laptops powered by Nvidia's new RTX Spark chip, targeting professional creators and AI developers. The announcement took place during the company's Innovation World event at IFA 2026.
The new lineup consists of two primary models: the high-performance Yoga Pro 9n and the versatile Yoga 9n 2-in-1. The Yoga Pro 9n is designed for extreme workloads, featuring a 15.3-inch 2560x1600 OLED display. It supports a massive 128GB of RAM and up to 4TB of storage distributed across two SSD slots. Despite these workstation-grade specs, the device remains portable, weighing 3.64 lbs with a chassis thickness of 16.7mm. It is powered by a 92.5Whr battery supporting 140W fast charging.
The Yoga 9n 2-in-1 offers a different form factor for creators, sporting a larger 16-inch 2880x1800 OLED display. This model supports up to 2TB of SSD storage and up to 32GB of RAM. It is slightly heavier and thicker than its Pro counterpart, weighing 4.28 lbs at 17.5mm thick, but compensates with a larger 99.9Whr battery.
The Push for Local AI
These hardware leaps arrive during a period of escalating memory requirements for local AI processing and high-end creative production. The industry is currently seeing a trend—described by 9to5Google as "RAMageddon"—where the demand for large language models (LLMs) and complex 3D rendering is pushing memory needs far beyond traditional consumer standards.
