Samsung launches the Galaxy F70 Pro in India on August 3, targeting the mid-range segment with a 6,000mAh battery and six years of software support.

Available exclusively through Flipkart and Samsung's official online store, the F70 Pro continues the series' online-first distribution strategy.

Hardware and Display

The F70 Pro runs Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset with up to 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. A 6,000mAh battery supports 45W fast charging, placing it among the higher-capacity options in its price bracket.

The FHD+ Super AMOLED display delivers a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection, targeting users who want smooth scrolling and durability without flagship pricing.

Camera System

The F70 Pro features a triple rear camera: 50MP primary sensor with OIS, 5MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro. Optical stabilization on the main sensor is notable at this price point, where it's typically reserved for higher-tier devices.

Pricing and Variants

Three configurations are available:

  • 6GB RAM / 128GB storage: INR 25,999
  • 8GB RAM / 128GB storage: INR 29,999
  • 8GB RAM / 256GB storage: INR 34,999

This pricing undercuts several competitors in the mid-range 5G segment while offering comparable or superior battery capacity.

Software Support

The F70 Pro ships with One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 and receives six years of OS upgrades and security updates. This level of long-term support is uncommon in the sub-INR 35,000 segment, where most manufacturers offer two to three years at best.

Market Context

The Galaxy F series targets budget-conscious Indian consumers seeking high battery capacity and online-exclusive availability. The F70 Pro's combination of a 6,000mAh battery, six-year software commitment, and aggressive pricing could pressure competitors like Realme, Redmi, and Motorola to extend their own support windows.

The device's India-exclusive launch explains the absence of coverage from Western tech outlets. Samsung has not announced global availability plans.

Sales begin August 3 via Flipkart and Samsung's online store.
