Tecno is bringing the Pova 8 Pro to the Indian market, positioning the device as a high-performance tool for mobile gamers. The smartphone will be available for purchase via Flipkart starting Friday, August 21.
The device enters the market with a starting price of ₹49,999. Under the hood, the Pova 8 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset, supplemented by a dedicated P1 Graphic Chip to enhance visual performance during intensive gaming sessions. The hardware is paired with a 6.78-inch OLED display that supports a 144Hz refresh rate and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. To sustain long sessions, Tecno has equipped the phone with a substantial 6,500mAh battery.

Tecno, a subsidiary of Transsion Holdings, has traditionally used the Pova series to target the budget-to-midrange segment by emphasizing battery longevity. However, the Pova 8 Pro represents a strategic pivot toward higher-end specifications.
