The Amazon is scheduled to arrive in the first half of 2027 as a dedicated class pack. The class will utilize bow and javelin weaponry, introducing the javelin as a new weapon type to the current game. Players will be able to choose from four distinct archetypes: Champion, Skirmisher, Ranger, and Commander.

These updates coincide with the 30th anniversary of the Diablo franchise. To celebrate the milestone, Blizzard is launching the 'Season of Hell's Legacy' starting September 15. The Amazon was a staple of Diablo 2 but had remained absent from the series until this announcement.
