The new ride, titled "Avengers: Infinity Defense," is scheduled to open in 2028 within Disneyland's Avengers Campus. Guests will be thrust into a battle against "King Thanos," fighting alongside a star-studded ensemble of MCU actors, including Anthony Mackie, Chris Hemsworth, and Jeremy Renner. Disney confirmed that Downey Jr. will specifically reprise his role as Iron Man for this experience, a performance that remains distinct from his upcoming casting as the villain Doctor Doom in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films.
