Perlis Center Launches Digital Initiatives to Uplift Underprivileged Asnaf

The Faizuddin Centre of Educational Excellence (FCoEE) has launched a series of strategic initiatives in Perlis, Malaysia, designed to empower the asnaf community through digital literacy and multidisciplinary education. These programs provide underprivileged individuals with the tools necessary to compete in a modern economy.

Central to these efforts is a Digital Entrepreneurship Programme specifically tailored for the asnaf group. By focusing on digital skills, FCoEE provides low-income students and entrepreneurs with a pathway toward economic independence. Alongside vocational training, the center is organizing the ICOHOPE 2025 international conference. This event, titled "Empowering Asnaf Through Multidisciplinary Approaches," bridges gaps across sectors including technology and health sciences to create a holistic support system for the vulnerable.

To expand its reach and expertise, FCoEE recently signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Daffodil International University (DIU) in Bangladesh. This strategy aligns with the vision of the Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, who emphasized the necessity of looking beyond national borders to solve systemic social issues. "International collaboration is vital in efforts to empower the asnaf (underprivileged) community," the Raja Muda stated, highlighting that aligning technological advancement with character building is essential for sustainable upliftment.
