President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have formally launched a strategic partnership between the Philippines and India. The agreement, established during a state visit to New Delhi, marks what President Marcos described as a "new epoch" in bilateral relations between the two nations.

Central to this diplomatic shift is a new Statement of Intent signed between the Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA) and the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). The accord focuses on cooperation regarding the peaceful uses of outer space, integrating space technology into a broader suite of bilateral agreements that also cover science, digital technology, and defense.
