Ainos Secures $2.1 Million Deal to Deploy AI Nose at ASE Semiconductor Sites

Ainos, Inc. (NASDAQ: AIMD) has secured a $2.1 million subscription-based order to deploy its digital olfaction technology within the semiconductor industry. The three-year agreement with ASE Technology Holding Co., Ltd. (ASEH) represents the first commercial revenue-generating milestone for the Ainos AI Nose platform in this sector.
Under the terms of the deal, Ainos will deploy 1,400 AI Nose units across three of ASEH's primary manufacturing facilities in Taiwan, located in Kaohsiung, Zhongli, and SPIL. ASEH is currently the world's largest provider of semiconductor assembly and test services. The technology relies on a proprietary Smell Language Model (SLM), which digitizes scents into machine-readable "Smell ID" data, allowing industrial environments to monitor olfactory changes in real time.
The Shift to Industrial SmellTech
This deployment signals a strategic pivot for Ainos as it moves from the preparation phase into operational industrial deployment. While the company recorded its initial revenue in the senior care sector during the first quarter of 2025, the ASEH partnership marks its entry into high-value industrial applications. Ainos is further expanding its footprint through strategic partnerships with Kenmec and Solomon for additional rollouts in Taiwan, as well as planned pilot deployments at seven sites in Japan via partner ugo, Inc.
