Jalisco Launches 'Circuito 14' to Build Local Semiconductor Supply Chain

The state of Jalisco is initiating a strategic push to integrate local suppliers into the semiconductor industry supply chain to reduce dependence on foreign imports. To execute this strategy, the Jalisco Ministry of Economic Development (Sedeco) has launched a project called "Circuito 14." Operated by the investment fund Carabela VC, the initiative is designed to create a robust portfolio of startups and local suppliers capable of meeting the rigorous demands of global technology companies already operating within the state. The project specifically targets high-value technical domains, including chip design, specialized software, embedded systems, and applied artificial intelligence.
