MediaTek has officially released the Dimensity 9400, its latest flagship 5G mobile chipset designed for the next generation of premium Android devices. The launch signals a strategic push into the high-end market, prioritizing extreme power efficiency and autonomous AI capabilities.
Built on TSMC's second-generation 3nm process (N3E), the Dimensity 9400 boasts a 40% power efficiency boost over the previous generation. The processor utilizes an "All Big Core" CPU architecture, featuring a primary Arm Cortex-X925 core clocked at 3.63GHz, supported by three Cortex-X4 cores and four Cortex-A720 cores.
