ECI Software Solutions Appoints First APAC Channel Manager to Scale Regional Growth
Melbourne-based Gino Granata will lead the expansion of ECI's partner ecosystem across the Asia Pacific region.
ECI Software Solutions has appointed Gino Granata as its first Asia Pacific Channel Manager to accelerate the company's growth in the region. Based in Melbourne, Granata will lead the expansion of ECI's channel program, focusing on strategic alliances with resellers, system integrators, and manufacturing consultants.
Granata is tasked with overseeing partner enablement for ECI's suite of ERP products, including JobBOSS2, M1, and Deacom. His role involves managing regional alliance alignment, joint marketing efforts, and partner communications. This move follows the introduction of Deacom software to the Australian market in the previous quarter. ECI currently serves a global client base of over 25,000 customers across more than 90 countries, spanning the distribution, field service, construction, building, and manufacturing sectors.
Strategic Shift to Indirect Sales
ECI is currently expanding its footprint in the Asia Pacific market, with a specific emphasis on the manufacturing sector. The company is pivoting toward a stronger indirect sales model to better penetrate mid-market industrial sectors, such as food production and discrete manufacturing. In these specialized fields, local consultants and resellers are considered critical for the successful deployment and ongoing support of complex ERP systems.
Addressing Industrial Pressures
This appointment signals a strategic shift to scale APAC operations through a formal partner ecosystem rather than relying exclusively on direct sales. By leveraging local partners, ECI aims to help manufacturers navigate significant margin pressures and the increasing demand for AI-based automation tools.
Andrew Mamonitis, Vice President APAC at ECI Software Solutions, stated that partners will play an "increasingly critical role" in the company's mission to help organizations gain real-time insights into profitability and automate manual processes. Granata noted that Australian manufacturers are currently under pressure to compete globally, boost their margins, and effectively implement AI-based functionality across their operations.
Future Outlook
As ECI builds out its regional infrastructure, the focus will remain on accelerating customer transformation through these local partnerships. The company will continue to monitor the adoption of its ERP tools among mid-market manufacturers as it seeks to increase market penetration across the Asia Pacific region.
