Operating via a dedicated, persistent virtual machine known as a Secure VM, Muse features a built-in browser that remains visible to the user. This architecture allows the agent to fill out forms, book appointments, and manage third-party applications. Powered by a specific model called "Muse Spark," the agent integrates with Facebook and Instagram, as well as external services like OpenTable and Spotify. According to Meta, the system can connect to any service with a public API provided the user supplies the necessary credentials. Meta described the shift in its official announcement, stating, "It doesn’t just answer questions, it actually does the work."
