TASKING and dSPACE India Partner to Speed Aerospace and Defence Certification

TASKING India and dSPACE India Solutions have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to integrate their engineering toolchains for the aerospace and defence sectors. Announced at ESSS 2026 in Bengaluru, the partnership aims to accelerate the design, validation, and certification of mission-critical software.

The collaboration merges TASKING’s software development and verification tools with dSPACE’s expertise in model-based development and simulation. By combining these capabilities, the two companies intend to provide a unified environment for developing safety-critical applications. Christoph Herzog, Co-CEO and CTO of TASKING, stated that the partnership creates a powerful foundation for Indian customers developing next-generation mission-critical applications by blending trusted development toolchains with simulation and validation strengths.

Strategic Context

This move aligns with India’s 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' initiative, which prioritizes the growth of indigenous capabilities in the aerospace and defence industries. As software within these sectors grows in complexity, there is an increasing need for integrated environments that can mitigate development risks and simplify the rigorous certification processes required for flight and combat systems.

To further bolster its verification capabilities, TASKING acquired LDRA in February 2025. This acquisition expanded the company's reach in software testing and traceability, providing a more robust framework for the verification requirements inherent in the aerospace and defence sectors.
