Coremail Launches AI-Native Email and Security Suite at LEAP 2026

Coremail showcased its AI-Native Secure Email System and CACTER AI-Native Secure Email Gateway at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from August 31 to September 3. The presentation marks a strategic shift for the company as it moves from manual email workflows toward agent-driven execution powered by a large language model (LLM) cognitive engine.
The new AI-Native Secure Email System replaces traditional static processes with AI Agents acting as execution units. According to company technical specifications, these agents are integrated with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and the ReAct autonomous execution framework to handle complex tasks. Complementing this is the CACTER AI-Native Secure Email Gateway, which utilizes the proprietary Nerves 2.0 neural network platform. This gateway employs specialized anti-phishing agents designed for multimodal and semantic threat detection to identify malicious content that bypasses traditional filters.
The Shift to Agentic Architecture
Founded in 1999, Coremail has grown into a massive enterprise provider serving more than 20,000 customers and 1 billion users. The company is now pivoting toward an "AI-native" architecture to align with what it describes as the "Year of the Agent" in 2026. This transition aims to evolve email from a simple communication tool into an intelligent gateway for broader enterprise workflows. To support this, the system is designed for six core enterprise scenarios: email classification, scheduling, approval workflows, workplace collaboration, email analytics, and system operations.
Addressing the Security Gap
This architectural pivot comes as AI-generated phishing and Business Email Compromise (BEC) attacks grow in sophistication, rendering legacy email gateways increasingly obsolete. By integrating LLM reasoning with autonomous agents and sandboxed execution environments, Coremail intends to provide a scalable method for enterprises to automate productivity without sacrificing data governance. Tim Lin, Coremail CTO, emphasized the necessity of this approach, stating that while AI is accelerating the transformation of enterprise work, security remains the essential foundation for successful adoption.
Global Rollout and Next Steps
The Riyadh showcase follows a similar presentation delivered at LEAP East 2026 in Hong Kong this past July, signaling a coordinated global push for the new suite. As enterprises move toward autonomous agents, the industry will be watching whether the integration of the ReAct framework and Nerves 2.0 can effectively neutralize the next generation of AI-driven social engineering attacks while maintaining the strict security protocols required by large-scale corporate environments.
