During the company's second-quarter 2026 earnings call on July 31, CFO Neil Hansen announced that AI models had flagged these additional drilling opportunities. To identify the prospects, ExxonMobil trained its AI on a combination of historical discovery data, subsurface work, and previous drilling results from the block. This digital approach comes as the Stabroek Block continues to show massive scale, with gross production exceeding 900,000 barrels per day in the second quarter of 2026.
