Major US-listed Bitcoin mining companies are diversifying their business models by pivoting toward high-performance computing (HPC) and AI infrastructure. This strategic shift marks a transition from pure cryptocurrency operations to becoming critical technology infrastructure providers.
Companies including TeraWulf, Hut 8, and IREN are leveraging their existing data center footprints and massive electrical power allocations to host AI workloads.
