Modern 5G network capabilities are more than sufficient to handle the most demanding high-definition and 4K streaming services. However, raw bandwidth is rarely the primary obstacle for users; signal stability and the physical environment play a far larger role in actual performance.
Technical analysis reveals a wide range of 5G performance based on the spectrum used. Mid-band 5G typically delivers speeds between 50 Mbps and 200 Mbps, while high-band millimeter-wave (mmWave) can exceed 1 Gbps. These figures dwarf the requirements for high-quality video.
