Apple adds AI-powered 'Notify Me' web monitoring to Safari
The new tool allows users to track price drops and product restocks across any website using natural language.
Apple has introduced "Notify Me," an AI-driven monitoring tool integrated into Safari for iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27 Golden Gate. The feature enables users to track specific changes on any webpage and receive push notifications when those changes occur.
To activate the tool, users click the three horizontal lines in the Safari address bar and select the "Notify Me" option. From there, they can describe the specific change they wish to monitor using natural language. For example, a user can instruct the browser to alert them "if the price drops below $100" or notify them when a sold-out item returns to stock. Once the AI detects the specified update on the page, it triggers a system notification.

Announced at WWDC 2026, Notify Me is a component of a larger rollout of Apple Intelligence updates designed to modernize the Safari browsing experience. Beyond web monitoring, these updates include automatic tab organization to help users manage cluttered sessions and a new "Describe an Extension" capability, which allows users to create custom browser tools through simple descriptions.
