Google has officially announced the Pixel 11 series, a four-device lineup designed to push the boundaries of mobile photography and hardware efficiency. The series—comprising the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold—is available for pre-order now, with general availability beginning August 20.

Across the entire range, Google has integrated the new Tensor G6 chipset to power AI and processing tasks. The standard Pixel 11 receives a notable camera upgrade, featuring a 48MP main sensor with a 1/1.56” size, a significant increase from the 1/2.0” sensor found in the Pixel 10. This model also introduces "Pixelsnap" magnetic charging at 25W.

For those seeking higher performance, the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL are equipped with a 50MP 1/1.3” main sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, and a 48MP telephoto lens capable of 5x optical zoom at 106mm. The Pro XL variant specifically offers a 6.8” display, a 5,115mAh battery, and 45W wired charging capabilities.

A Shift in Hardware Standards

Most notably, the company has completely removed 128GB storage options from the lineup, establishing 256GB as the new base storage tier across all models. Google is also refining its foldable strategy with the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The new foldable is both slimmer and lighter than its predecessor, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, measuring 10.1mm when folded and weighing 239g. It maintains a dual-screen setup with a 6.5” cover display and a larger 8.0” inner display, aiming to reduce the bulk typically associated with foldable hardware.
