Samsung has launched the Samsung AI Assistant, a generative AI tool integrated into its Android-based interactive displays to automate administrative tasks and improve classroom accessibility. Showcased on the WAFX-P model at Bett 2025, the software transforms the interactive display from a passive digital whiteboard into an active pedagogical tool.

The AI Assistant introduces several core features designed to streamline lesson delivery. The "Live Transcript" tool converts spoken instruction into real-time text on the screen, while "Circle to Search" allows educators to highlight images or objects on the display to instantly locate related web resources. For assessment, the "AI Quiz" tool generates tests based on uploaded materials and recorded lesson transcripts. Additionally, the "My Lessons" feature automatically saves voice-recorded sessions and produces AI-generated summaries for later review. The WAFX-P hardware is available in 65, 75, and 86-inch sizes.

This move marks a strategic expansion of Samsung's "Galaxy AI" ecosystem, moving beyond smartphones and into the education sector. By embedding these capabilities directly into classroom hardware, Samsung is targeting the high administrative burden placed on teachers.
