VESA patterns are measured as the horizontal distance multiplied by the vertical distance in millimeters, such as a 400 x 200 pattern. To ensure a secure fit, users must identify their specific TV's pattern to select a compatible mount. This information is typically found in the TV's manual, on the manufacturer's official support page, or by manually measuring the distance between the centers of the mounting holes.
