Firesprite has confirmed a narrative partnership with AdHoc Studio for the development of Until Dawn 2. The collaboration aims to deepen the sequel's storytelling and character dynamics ahead of its PlayStation 5 launch on January 28, 2027.
According to a PlayStation Blog post, Firesprite brought in AdHoc Studio—the team behind the 2025 title Dispatch—to ensure the game features a "deeply layered story" and "razor-sharp dialogue." The partnership focuses specifically on the game's narrative elements, with Firesprite stating that players can expect fraught relationships, difficult decisions, and numerous "gruesome deaths."
