No Man's Sky marks 10th anniversary with 'Cosmos' space overhaul

Hello Games has released the 'Cosmos' update, version 7.0, to mark the 10th anniversary of No Man's Sky. The update fundamentally transforms the experience of deep space, introducing long-requested player-driven infrastructure to the void between worlds.

The update centers on a massive overhaul of the space environment, most notably introducing orbital bases and player-owned space stations. Players can now own and customize their own stations, which function as personal headquarters or social hubs. Alongside these stations, the update adds new space-based points of interest, including massive space hulks available for salvage.
