This pivot toward extreme specifications is a direct response to the release of hardware-intensive titles. Games such as Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, both 2026 releases, demand significant system resources. As PC processing power increases, the monitor has become the primary bottleneck. To effectively render the high frame rates these systems can produce, the industry has shifted its focus away from mere screen size toward resolution, panel response times, and raw performance.
