Pearl Abyss has officially revealed "Charting the Unknown," the first post-launch DLC for Crimson Desert. Unveiled during a Sony State of Play presentation, the expansion is set to release on October 15 and is currently available for pre-order.
The new content expands the narrative by following characters Kliff, Oongka, and Damiane as they venture deeper into the continent of Pywel. Beyond story additions, the DLC introduces significant gameplay shifts, including homesteading and home-building systems. For the first time, the title will also feature romance and marriage proposal mechanics, adding a social layer to the experience. Players who pre-order the expansion will receive the Charter's and Charter's Light Diving sets as bonuses.
