Red Hook Studios is expanding the oppressive world of Darkest Dungeon into the realm of traditional publishing. The studio has partnered with Vault Comics to produce a series of original canonical graphic novels that will deepen the franchise's established mythology.
The project is being developed by writer John Lees, known for The Nasty and Sink, and artist Maan House, who previously worked on The Cemeterians and Dark Souls. The creative duo is working in close collaboration with Red Hook co-founder Chris Bourassa to ensure the narrative aligns with the series' grimdark roots. To support the launch of the series, the team will initiate a crowdfunding campaign via BackerKit.
