Google Pixel 11 Series Debuts with Tensor G6 and Notification LEDs

The new lineup consists of four models: the standard Pixel 11 priced at $899, the Pixel 11 Pro at $1,099, the Pixel 11 Pro XL at $1,299, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold at $1,899. All devices are powered by the Tensor G6 chip, which Google claims delivers 25% faster web browsing and 15% quicker app launches. Most notably, the G6 chip accelerates on-device AI tasks by up to 3.5x. Camera hardware also sees a significant boost, with the base model receiving a 48MP main sensor and Pro models featuring 120x Pro Zoom. Additionally, Night Sight performance has improved, capturing shots up to 4.5x faster than previous iterations.
A Return to Hardware Indicators
In a move that blends modern AI with legacy design, Google introduced "HiLight," a feature that brings notification LEDs back to the Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold models. According to Google, these LEDs allow users to assign custom colors to favorite contacts and provide visual indicators for the status of Gemini AI. This hardware addition complements other physical refinements, such as the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, which is nearly 10% lighter and almost 1mm thinner than its predecessor, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
