Marshall has launched the Stockwell III, marking the first update to its portable speaker line in seven years. The new device focuses on extreme battery endurance and a shift toward sustainable hardware design.

The Stockwell III features a battery life of over 40 hours on a single charge, which is double the capacity of the previous Stockwell II. Alongside the power boost, Marshall has upgraded the device's durability to an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, moving up from the IPX4 rating found on its predecessor. The speaker is priced at $249 / £199, maintaining the same launch price as the Stockwell II from 2019.

While many portable speakers are sealed units that must be discarded when the battery degrades, the Stockwell III introduces a modular architecture. Users can now replace the battery, the front and rear grilles, the silicone sleeve, and the carry strap.
