Noida police have arrested six individuals for their roles in a coordinated scheme to steal and sell high-value mobile phones from a logistics company. The operation targeted shipments in transit, resulting in the theft of electronics worth millions of rupees.

According to police reports, the suspects intercepted shipments by breaking container seals and removing mobile phones directly from the cartons. Among those detained is Keshav Kumar, who served as a container driver for Xpressbees Logistics Solution Pvt Ltd. Following the arrests, authorities recovered 154 mobile phones with an estimated value of Rs 50 lakh. Police also seized Rs 2.5 lakh in cash and a Scorpio vehicle used in the commission of the crimes.

The theft was not immediately apparent during the delivery process but was uncovered during a routine company audit. The discrepancy in inventory led the logistics firm to file a formal complaint, resulting in a First Information Report (FIR) registered at the Beta-2 police station on July 24. The subsequent investigation allowed police to trace the movement of the stolen goods and identify the internal and external collaborators involved in the ring.
