Samsung Debuts Cloud-Based Account Management for Interactive Displays

Samsung has introduced the Account Management Solution (AMS) for its Android-based Interactive Display lineup, debuting the software at ISTELive 26. The system allows teachers who share physical hardware to maintain secure, personalized workspaces that follow them across different classrooms.

By leveraging cloud-connected profiles, educators can instantly load their specific settings, files, and layouts upon signing in. According to Samsung and UC Today, teachers can access these profiles using QR codes or NFC-enabled ID cards. These personalized profiles encompass a wide range of customizations, including specific app shortcuts, bookmarks, wallpapers, custom layouts, files, and general system settings. For added security, Samsung confirmed that teachers can instantly activate a screen lock when leaving the classroom for brief periods.
